Day 1:
Arrive Dublin or Shannon. Drive to Ballybunion and check into your hotel that has been arranged for you per the class of service requested. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you deem fit, a suggestion may be to tour the quaint town of Ballybunion or an additional round of golf can be arranged for your enjoyment. Overnight at your golf vacation hotel.
Day 2:
Today you will play golf at Ballybunion Old, the one of the highest rated golf course in Ireland, and generally ranked in the Top 100 in the world. Overlooking the Atlantic, this stern test of golf is Tom Watson's favorite. The course requires an extremely accurate long game, and is well known for the dramatic drops and required climbs up hills. The 17th hole is one of the most picturesque in golf. Non-golfers may wish to explore The Ring of Kerry. Overnight at your golf vacation hotel.
Day 3:
Golf play today will be arranged at Tralee. This golf course was designed by Arnold Palmer, and considered one of his personal best. Currently ranked in the World’s Top 100 golf courses, this is a true links course. While the flat first nine holes allows a brief departure from serious difficulty, the famous back nine are extremely demanding, with huge dunes and spectacular views of the ocean. Many consider the rough as demanding as any course in the world, and many consider the views as the most scenic in Ireland. Non-golfers may wish to explore the Bunratty Castle. Overnight at the your golf vacation hotel.
Day 4:
Lahinch awaits all challengers today, ranked in the World’s Top 50. Lahinch awaits all challengers today, ranked in the World’s Top 50. Regarded as the “St Andrews of Ireland”, the golf course is demanding and well known for the numerous sand dunes. As with many courses in Ireland, blind shots are a regularity. Additionally, the wind can be severe, but the greens can accept a shot and provide one with a fair putt and an acceptable speed. Non-golfers may wish to explore the exciting city of Shannon. Overnight at your golf vacation hotel.
Day 5:
This afternoon’s golf game will be played at Waterville. Beautifully situated at the tip of the Invereagh Peninsula along the Ring of Kerry, Waterville is a rugged golf course that has spectacular Ireland mountain and ocean views. The golf course is one of the longest in Ireland, and requires skills to avoid the many dunes and traps that litter the course. The Atlantic Ocean bordering this fine course allows wind swirls that make club selection extremely difficult. Non-golfers may wish to tour Killarney. After golf, drive to the wonderful city of Dublin. Overnight at your golf vacation hotel.
Day 6:
Portmarnock Old is scheduled to host your golf party today. Regularily ranked in the World’s Top 50 by Golf Magazine, this course has held many Irish Opens, as well as the Walker Cup and Canada World Cup. Founded in 1894 and originally reached by boat, this course demands length off of the tee. There is a huge variety of challenging holes, and perhaps the most famous is the par 3 15th. This stern test of golf was one of Arnold Palmer's favorites. Non-golfers may wish to visit the seaside resort of Malahide. Overnight at your golf vacation hotel.
Day 7:
Golf today will be at Portmarnock Links. Accompanying its famous neighbor, this test of golf designed by Bernhard Langer is the only PGA European Tour course in Ireland. A seaside links with character, many seasoned golfers consider this a sterner test than Portmarnock Old. Non-golfers may wish to tour the seaside resort of Malahide. Upon completion of your round of golf, leave for the airport or extend your trip with additional golf arranged by our staff.
