LOS CABOS
Cabo Real
This magnificent Robert Trent Jones II Championship golf course was the site of the 1999 PGA Senior Slam Tournament. The course is a classic design laid over more than 7,000 yards of verdant landscape with three oceanfront holes. A picturesque and diverse course, Cabo Real features rolling fairways with strategically placed bunkers on narrow terrain. The first six holes are in mountainous terrain, with hills and valleys stretching into the surrounding Sierras; others are nestled near the beach. An inspiring view awaits you from each of them.
Cabo del Sol (Ocean)
Cabo del Sol is a Jack Nicklaus signature course, one with 1.5 miles of oceanfront. Considered by some to be the most challenging in Los Cabos. Plenty of arroyos, sand traps and other obstacles makes play extremely demanding. Of the nearly two miles of ocean frontage, 1.5 miles of it is devoted to holes 6, 7, 8, 16, 17 and 18. Of the 3,500 courses rated by Golf Digest, Cabo del Sol is rated one of the top ten public courses in the world.
Palmilla
A Jack Nicklaus signature course, combining the unique blending of desert and sea, one of the world's truly picturesque golf destinations. The Palmilla golf courses are of traditional Mexican design with the Arroyo Nine, back Mountain Nine, and the new Ocean Nine. On the new Ocean course, every hole has its own view of the shimmering, electric blue Sea of Cortéz in the distance. The last of the Arroyo holes are considered three spectacular holes. Diverse in length and enhanced by several water and sand hazards, the mountain holes are as beautiful as they are challenging.
Cabo del Sol (Desert)
This masterful Tom Weiskopf design is an inland layout with 180-degree views of the sea from nearly every hole. Golfers have marveled at its melding of desert and ocean, with canyon-like arroyos that are as awe-inspiring as they are challenging. The design takes advantage of natural river washes, subtle changes in elevation and dramatic bunkering. The undulating greens also makes the Desert Course a distinguished piece of the Cabo del Sol golf experience.
Puerto Los Cabos
This resort, featuring three distinct courses designed by two of the sport’s most legendary figures, Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus. All three courses are championship layouts, perched above the Sea of Cortez and etched into rolling desert foothills and backdropped by the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains. The views from the course are unparalleled and showcases the rare combination of beautiful desert and pristine coastline, which is only found on the majestic Baja Peninsula. The Norman Course has over 400 feet of elevation change. The Nicklaus I Course features rippling fairways, undulating greens and sculpted bunkers. The Nicklaus II Course emulates the original Nicklaus I Course with subtly contoured greens, large sculpted bunkers and dramatic elevation changes.
Cabo San Lucas Country Club
A challenging 18-hole course designed to test the mettle of players at all levels of ability. You can't miss the beautiful entrance with its huge flowing fountain and lavish garden. Designed by the renowned Dye Corporation, fairways are positioned on gently sloping terrain overlooking the Sea of Cortéz; the only course in Los Cabos with a view of Land's End. This 745-acre course has been built in an area of classic desert beauty while maintaining the fragile eco-system. The Country Club remains a natural habitat for all manner of flora and fauna.
Club Campestre
Tucked in the rolling foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, the Nicklaus Design golf course at Club Campestre is the centerpiece of a 550-acre master-planned community. Grand Mayan
The former San José Municipal Campo de Golf offers players at all levels some of the most interesting golf in Los Cabos. The nine-hole 2,900-yard course is designed for intermediate and beginning golfers, and is surrounded by an abundance of multi-hued bougainvilleas. From the first tee you are greeted by a panoramic view of the Sea of Cortéz and the cape that comprises San José del Cabo.
